Presentation: Experience Design for Understanding Social Withdrawal
Opening a Door to Closed Lifeworlds through Larp
Language: English
A brief talk on how larp (live-action role-play) can become a tool to make research in the humanities and social science into an experience. The presentation introduces the audience to larp and showcases “Village, Shelter, Comfort,” a larp co-designed with people who withdrew from society for a prolonged time. The larp seeks to make their everyday experiencable by others and further understanding for people in withdrawal.
